NEVADO DEL TOLIMA – P.N.N. Los Nevados ( 5.215 m.)
It is the southest mountain of the area, short time taken and access, situade on the Central Andean Chain (Cordillera Central) above the coffe region (region cafetera), presents an ecosystem based on a tropical active symmetrical volcano surrounded by rain forests.
Program takes between 4-5 days, Ibagué capital town 4 hr from Bogotá, good road and buses, possible to fly.
TREKKING IN SANTANDER – CAMINOS REALES
The very rugged geography of this region is connected by very old stone trails from the indian-spaniards period most known as Caminos Reales
This adventurous trek goes to misterious, unexpected and lower lands (900 m. to 2.200m)
The endemyc dry forest along the Chicamocha river is the way to follow..
Programs from 1 to 4 days, highly reccomended unexplored and uncrowded area.
